Hot Stocks — pullbacks into support
The algorithm hunts stocks that have declined onto a meaningful support on the chart. Every alert gets a stop one percent below that support — so the risk is short and defined up front — and the target is the nearest significant resistance, at 1:2 reward:risk or better. ATR estimates the time horizon to target and flags unusually tight stops.
Detection is chart-only — support, trend and reward:risk. “Attractively valued” is a bonus tag, not a gate: free valuation data is far too coarse to filter on, and a cheap stock can absolutely be a value trap. The chart sets the timing; value only adds conviction.
A scan every round hour on New-York market time, 07:00–15:00 (usually 14:00–22:00 Israel time): 3 pre-market scans and 6 during the session. In intraday scans the latest daily candle is still a partial bar.
